Affordable Gold Necklaces

Long Necklaces

Hey there! I know what you’re thinking. Yes, these are tassel necklaces which have been around for a while and have grown to be increasingly popular so why am I showing these two lovely ones to you today? Well the answer to that is, because they have become so popular Walmart now carries their own line of them. The best part is that they are only $5!! You read that right… $5. I was strolling through Walmart one morning last week and just happened to walk by the jewelry hanging on the end of the rack closest to the main aisle and saw these BEAUTIFUL accents. I could not help myself from indulging. The white has a fabulous marble texture-look to it and the golden rings really make it pop and shine. I’m kind of getting a snakeskin vibe from it too and that is the primary reason I bought it. (Recently, I’ve developed a slight obsession with snakeskin so be on the lookout for some chic pieces to come!) Next, we have the black beauty. You can never go wrong with black and gold. I’ve been dying for a long black accent necklace for quite sometime but never found one in my price range that i couldn’t live without… until now 🙂 If you’re in need of some chic and cheap necklaces that are to die for, hit up Walmart and thank me later!! 😉

Gilded Accents

Click this link to shop for this tray and jewelry hanger!

This golden jewelry tray and jewelry hanger can both be found at one of my favorite stores, Target. Target specializes in affordable yet chic home accents and is my go-to place for decor. I couldn’t help but to buy both of these lovelies upon finding them! The tray is huge so it holds all of my earrings and loose jewels. The hanging chain comes with 12 hooks to hang necklaces or bracelets on. I personally just hang my necklaces on them! Jewelry trays, especially golden ones, have become popular accents. I also got both of these at great prices considering how beautiful they are! I linked both of them in the caption so go check them out if you’re in need of some new jewelry organization!! Also, you can save 10% at checkout with the code: MARCH. Happy shopping! 🙂

On Wednesday’s I Wear Pink

imageAs an honorary Mean Girl’s fan, I only thought it to be appropriate to post this pink beauty today. I snagged this beautiful lace and cap-sleeved teelenghth dress at Plato’s Closet for only $14. This dress is absolutely stunning and looks brand new!! Plato’s Closet has lots of chic pieces, such as this one, for a steal! What stood out to me about this dress is the lace. It has intersecting floral detail all throughout. Also, I have this cap sleeved trend going on so of course this dress was a must. It screams spring to me! Hopefully it will be warm enough to break out this fashionable find soon!!

Throwback Trends

Last week while shopping at my local mall, I came across this beauty… and you’ll never guess where I got it. As I continued my stroll through the mall, I walked by Aeropostale. There was a huge banner outside that said everything in store was up to 70% off, so who was I to pass up on an incredible sale such as that?! After years of walking by and reminiscing on the butterfly-logo polo shirts and Aero graphic tees I used to make my mom buy in multiples, I decided it was time to finally revisit the store that cultivated my mainstream, yet embarrassing, tween-year trends. Upon entering, I was instantly bombarded by sweet smiles and the inevitable  “Hey welcome to Aero, how are you today?” I proceeded to the back of the store because that’s where the clearance racks are and they had and extra 30% off of clearance. On my way back, the swimsuits caught my eye. I’ve been busting it in the gym, so I figured it was about time to reward myself. I skimmed through their suits. To my surprise, most of them were actually cute and fashionable. Then, I came across this beauty. I got it for an absolute steal, of course!! On top of the already low price, I got even more savings on an app called Ibotta. On this app, there is a rebate for Aero that gives $5 cashback for any $40 purchase so I took advantage of that and saved even more! If you sign up on Ibotta using my code [HHDPHJA], after you make your first rebate (hopefully the aero swimsuit purchase) you will recieve $10!! So, ultimately you will recieve $15 after only spending $40 because that’s how much the suit is all together {making the suit only $25}!!  I’ve linked the swimsuit in the caption if you want to check it out! It’s super chic and halters are trending this season.

Department Store Deals

Today’s outfit mostly consists of department store pieces I got for an absolute steal! I know what you’re thinking, “eww department stores.” I understand the feeling of not wanting to go out and see what you’re wearing on someone else. For that reason, I’m the type that thrifts for unique yet chic pieces from small boutiques and high-end consignment shops most of the time. ** notice that I said ‘pieces’ because I very rarely buy an entire outfit from the same store just to ensure they my style is always original** Well, after these finds, I will definitely be hitting up the clearance racks at department stores more often!

  • The intersecting lace detail accompanied by that deep plunging neckline is what makes this tunic so chic.
  • Distressed jeans are a must have staple in any college girl’s closet. You can dress them up (as I did) or even throw on a cute tank and cardigan to dress them down a little.
  • Black booties are another staple you must have this winter. I personally like suede better than cognac, but either way works!
  • Gold watches have risen to stardom over the past few years. I actually received this one as a gift about 3 years ago and it still shines like new! Fossil is definitely a brand worth investing in if an MK isn’t in your budget!

Black Peplum-Style Tunic: Dillards-$10; Lightwash Distressed Skinnies: Sears-$7.80; Black Suede Booties: Charlotte Russe-$17 (not a department store but still a steal); Rose Gold Watch: Fossil from Buckle- $129
